School Laboratory Safety Guidelines
ALL SCIENCE STUDENTS WILL:
Follow all instructions given by a teacher
Wear approved safety goggles as instructed by a teacher
Not inhale or ingest anything unless directed to do so by a teacher
Learn the location and use of safety equipment
Notify the teacher immediately of any problem or concern
Read and understand directions thoroughly before beginning an activity
Keep lab stations clear of all unnecessary materials and observe good housekeeping practices
Learn and follow rules given in student handbook and the Henrico County Public Schools Code of Student Conduct

Science Safety Agreement
Safety Agreements serve as an agreement between school and home that safety guidelines/rules will be followed during investigations/labs to ensure students remain safe during these learning experiences. They may be found in the HCPS system and signed electronically by parents/guardians.
