• Learn about your Watershed and Water Quality Testing with your Community Partner

  • View the Outreach Video (9 minutes): This will contain instructions for how to use your water quality testing equipment.

    1. If you are using Test Tabs View Video from Start to 5:44 and 8:26 to end

    2. If you are using Test Strips View Video from Start to 1:15 - 5:45 to end

• Complete the Water Quality Testing (Either Test Strip or Test Tab)

  • Test Tab Key

  • Test Strip Key for pH

  • Test Strip Key for Nitrate

• Answer the Google Form that Pertains to You

  • Test TAB Google Form: Use this form if you were in person and used test tubes and then dropped a tab into it.

  • Test STRIP Google Form: Use this form if you were Virtual or In Person, but your teacher remained virtual and you used test strips and a cup of water.

• View the map below and to see the results for our entire county so far. Check back in a few days to see your pin added. Then click the green button for 'Water Quality Test Tab Results' or 'Water Quality Test Strip Results' and go to the spreadsheet to see your results. Once you find your results, use your snipping tool to grab a photo of your results. Or simultaneously hit ‘Fn’ and ‘F11’, then simultaneously hit ‘Ctrl’ and ‘V’ and paste your picture into your BWISE Outreach 2021 Student Assignment.

• Answer the remaining questions in your Students Assignment and submit the results to your teacher through Schoology.

Virtual students will watch the video and then use the information on the video and during the live video feed to complete the Virtual Students Biotic Water Quality Data Sheet, link found below.
