Designed sample course for Dominion Energy. This was a course for new hires on the five core company values

Challenge

• Design an e-learning course for new employees at Dominion on the company five core values.

Solution

• Created a course using storyline 360 because I wanted interactive elements. I wanted the learner to this about their own core values, and then comparing them to those of the company once they learn them. I wanted to tap the learner's prior knowledge and have them relate their experience to the company. When the learner can make connections and relate the content they will be more likely to learn the content.

Result

• Although this course was created for a fictional scenario, the hope is that new employees at Dominion Energy will know and understand the five core values and be able to apply those to their employee role.
