To the Hendrick Hudson Community,

My name is Ms. Polito and I am excited to be back as your School Counselor this year. I am eager to get to know our student body and their families. I will be the School Counselor for grades 3-5, working with students and faculty.

School Counselors at the elementary level wear many different hats within a school. They may come into classrooms to deliver character education lessons, meet with students individually or facilitate lunch, friendship & new student groups. My primary focus is to support all students in need, and specifically focus on social-emotional learning, child safety, career interest, and self-exploration.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, hiking, and taking trips to the ocean. As a mom of three elementary-aged children, I understand the hectic schedules and challenges that we face as families. I look forward to building relationships, connecting with parents, and supporting our student body!
