We will use ClassDojo as our homeroom and math class communication tool. This will be a demo as part of our weekly updates and classroom communication, as the Hempfield School District is exploring the possibility of using ClassDojo district-wide next year.

ClassDojo is a free platform that allows teachers and families to communicate easily and stay informed about classroom news, updates, and announcements. You will soon receive a personalized notification from me inviting you to join our class.

You can access ClassDojo:

• Through any web browser

• By downloading the free ClassDojo app on iOS or Android devices

Once connected, we can communicate directly in the app to share updates and maintain contact.

Please note:

• There is no cost to families. 

• You do not need to pay for any upgrades or additional resources; everything we will use is free.

• We will not be using the behavior point system in ClassDojo.

• Our focus will be solely on communication and information sharing, as I believe that behavior expectations and feedback are best addressed through existing classroom practices and direct communication rather than a point-based system.
