Hello Acacia Family! 

My name is Mrs. Alvarado and I am honored to be one of the Middle School Counselors here at Acacia. My goal this year is to support our scholars academically, socio-emotionally, and with their college and career aspirations.

As a first generation Latinx college graduate, I have made it my duty to empower our students; while also being your scholar's advocate through this important developmental period characterized by curiosity about their world and an emerging self-identity. I am committed to closing opportunity gaps and inspiring ALL students to achieve their educational dreams. I am so happy to be a part of this incredible school and I am grateful to work with amazing students, families, and staff each day.

Hello Acacia family! 

My name is Mr. Perkins, I am thankful, humbled and most of all excited to be your M-Z Counselor. 

I am very passionate about ALL students being successful, by building rapport, supporting, advocating and collaborating to connect the right resources to our scholars, parents/guardians, staff and teachers. 

My main focus is our scholars academic achievement, social-emotional well being, overcoming challenges and that they are productive life learners. 

I know through experience, this is a journey that ALL scholars can excel at, so let’s have fun and have a great year Cougars!
