Hello Acacia Family! 

My name is Mrs. Alvarado and I am honored to be one of the Middle School Counselors here at Acacia. My goal this year is to support our scholars academically, socio-emotionally, and with their college and career aspirations.

As a first generation Latinx college graduate, I have made it my duty to empower our students; while also being your scholar's advocate through this important developmental period characterized by curiosity about their world and an emerging self-identity. I am committed to closing opportunity gaps and inspiring ALL students to achieve their educational dreams. I am so happy to be a part of this incredible school and I am grateful to work with amazing students, families, and staff each day.

Hello Acacia families!

I’m excited to join the Acacia community as one of the middle school counselors. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where every student feels seen, heard, and encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to building strong relationships with our students, families, and staff and helping every child navigate challenges, celebrate successes, and feel confident in who they are.

As a first-generation college graduate, I know how much it means to have someone who believes in you. That experience inspires me to encourage students to recognize their strengths, dream big, and believe in all they are capable of achieving. I hope every student knows they have a trusted adult in their corner who is ready to listen, support, and cheer them on.

Middle school is a time of tremendous growth, discovery, and new opportunities. I’m grateful to be part of the Acacia family and look forward to working together to make this a positive, memorable, and successful school year for all of our students.
