You will need:
Black light-stop bag
Your wound-off film
Developing Tank (Hand Tank)
Spiral to fit your tank & black tube
Scissors
Film opening device
Wind off your film
Assemble the correct equipment and check that your black bag has working zips and no tears or other way that light could enter the bag
Before you start everything must be bone-dry!
Put everything into the bag and insert your arms
Before opening the film make sure you have everything you need and you have room to work
Open the film with the opening device and carefully wind the film onto the spool
Cut the tail off the film
Carefully wind the film onto the spiral
When you get to the end of the film, use the scissors to carefully cut the film from the film spool
Place the filled spiral onto the spindle and then carefully into the canister and close the lid (make sure the spiral is at the bottom of the tank)
When you are certain that the lightproof lid is firmly attached to the tank (you should hear a click), put on the waterproof lid
Then you can take your arms out of the light stopped bag and remove the canister for processing
Remove everything from the hand tank, throw away any rubbish and return dark bag and equipment to their box
