I aspire to maintain and manage a positive learning environment. My expectations are clearly posted throughout my room for the students to refer to. Students will be taught the classroom expectations at the beginning of the year and held accountable to follow them.
Our school uses the PAX good behavior game, an evidenced-based behavior intervention program, as a part of our daily management of the classroom. Part of PAX is predicting, monitoring, and reflecting on behaviors at school. Students respond very well to this and I am so excited to share more about this with you!
We will also be utilizing Class Dojo. This is a great tool for teacher-parent communication and you will be able to view class pictures and announcements.
