First Grade is an exciting year of learning and fun. As a class, we will expand on the foundational reading, writing and math concepts that were taught in Kindergarten. It is amazing to see the growth that occurs in First Grade! I am a firm believer in play-based education and integrating art into my lessons. I look forward to working with you this year to make your child's First Grade experience wonderful.
Our class does a daily shared snack. Please let me know if your child has any allergies. I ask that families send in a healthy, nut-free snack twice a month that can feed 18 students. In addition to monthly snacks, we would appreciate the items on the supply list at the beginning of the year. I will put any additional needs or requests on Class dojo throughout the year.
