My name is Hannah Ware, and I am excited and grateful to work with the students at Bedford Junior High School for the 5th year. Before moving to be a part of the HEB ISD Fine Arts Team, I was the Choir Director at Madison Middle School in Abilene, Texas where we worked towards choral excellence and building a successful and caring choir community. Prior to teaching in Abilene, I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s degree in Choral Music Education. While there I was a member of several top choral ensembles and the opera program. My husband, Jeffrey Ware, is a youth minister at Center Point Church NRH, and the #1 supporter of the Bedford Junior High Choirs. We have a beautiful two year-old daughter and a goofy golden retriever named Amos.

In the Bedford Junior High School Choral Program, students will learn about a wide variety of music from different time periods, styles, and cultures. Students will learn how to use their voices well and in a healthy way and how to sight-read music. Students have many opportunities to display their skills in individual and ensemble competitions. There are also several chances throughout the year for students to get to know one another better at social events. Above all, I love music and the joy that it brings, and I can not wait to share that joy with you and your students!
