Create a Mind Map that will organize your ideas and possible research topics for your research question
Create an annotated bibliography that helps to organize some of your initial research. This will provide a great opportunity for your supervisor to check your sources.
Compose an email to your supervisor to help set up a meeting.
Plan your talking points in a Google Doc. Use the checklist in your handbook to help draft some of your talking points.
It is highly advisable for you (the student) to be proactive and request a meeting with your supervisor (avoid them having to chase you)

Additionally, I have completed a Mind Map and annotated bibliography, and I started to work on reflections for my ideas; all of these are on my researcher's reflection space in ManageBac, which you are free to view before our upcoming meeting. I hope to schedule our initial meeting soon. Ideally, we would need about 20-30 minutes for this first meeting. I am available (LIST AVAILABILITY)
Please let me know what dates and times work best for you. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to meeting with you.
Sincerely,
