About Me

My name is Ms. Banegas and I'm the Architectural Design teacher at Buinger CTE Academy. I am originally from Conroe but moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University where I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Upon graduating college, I moved to Fort Worth to begin my civil engineering career and worked for Halff Associates for 7 years where I received my professional engineering license. Needing a change of pace, I obtained my teaching certification and am excited to be at Buinger CTEA teaching architecture for my second year. I look forward to the new school year and all we can accomplish together.
