Y7 - Challenge Weeks

Challenge week 1: You will writing about Scrooge at the beginning of the play. This will involve using quotations in your answer and zooming in on words that create images. Revise your use of PEEAL paragraphs.

Focus of Assessment: to assess your reading skills with an extract from Shakespeare's Macbeth. The extract will be on Lady Macbeth and whether we thin she's a hero or a villain. 

You will be expected to write a few paragraphs, using evidence (quotations) from the extract. We expect you to use the PEEA structure. 

You will be given sentence prompts to support you.

Focus of Assessment: Students will be given an extract on the text 'Refugee Boy' and they will be expected to answer the question using PEEAL paragraphs. They will have sentence starters and vocabulary to support.
