Heartwood Hiking Club 

HELLO HEARTWOOD HIKERS!

We are  delighted to go on hiking adventures with you every Wednesdays, 9:45 am, rain or shine, unless a downpour is predicted in which case I will send a message in Parent Square the day before confirming :-) 

We plan to make this a fun, adventurous time together as we hike various trails in Sonoma County. Please be sure to bring water and snacks! We encourage you to bring journals, sketchbooks, colored pencils, blankets etc.. as we plan to stop along the way to take in nature! If you feel like sketching something - do it! If you feel like enjoying nature and visiting with friends, that’s great too! We will bring flora and fauna and birds of California field guides to help us identify the various plants and birds in the area.

Every Monday I will send an email with information about where we will meet to hike. It is our hope to find hikes that do not require parking fees, however, some hikes might require a parking fee (typically $5-$7 fee).
