October 16th- Ragle Ranch Regional Park500 Ragle Road, Sebastopol, CA A paved trail circles the east side of the park, looping past the playground, picnic areas, sports courts and sports fields. More than 3 miles of unpaved trails loop around the west side of the park and along Atascadero Creek. Trails are lined with willows, ashes, and oaks and lead past meadows and wetlands and over small streams. Hilltop Trail offers views across the watershed toward western Sonoma County while Blackberry Trail offers a loop around the perimeter of the interior meadows. October 30th - Taylor Mountain Regional Park, NORTH ENTRANCE - 2080 Kawana Terrace, Santa Rosa, CA- The trail starts as a gentle climb that gets steeper as you go. This ascent takes you through a variety of landscapes. After leaving the Western Route, the Eastern Route Trail continues on a gradual and steeper incline. At this section of the loop, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking views of the surroundings. April 2nd- Lake Ilsanjo- - Meet at Park Trail Drive:Spring Creek Trail up which is a mile and a half to get to the lake. We will either come down the same way or we will go down Canyon. If we go down Canyon- it’s 2 1/2 miles. So the round-trip could either be 3 miles or 4 miles. The meeting place is on Parktrail Drive which is just off of Summerfield Rd in Santa Rosa. If you’re heading south on Summerfield you turn left or east on Parktrail Drive and you go about 1/3 of a mile. Go through the stop sign and then park on the right. The trail head is on the opposite side of the road. THIS IS A LITTLE MORE ADVANCED HIKE.

April 30th - Montini Open Space Preserve trailhead- The Montini Open Space Preserve is covered with oak woodland, large rock outcroppings (including an historical rock quarry), and open grassland. The trails offer beautiful views of Sonoma Valley, San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. Protecting the Montini property has helped to maintain the historic character of this ranch that has existed since the time of General Vallejo. The Preserve trailheads are at 1st St West and 4th St West. The trail system boasts two overlooks, including one that is ADA-accessible. From 4th St West, the trail ascends up a gently sloped path that is designed for wheelchair access before heading upward through an oak woodland to Coyote Point overlooking the city of Sonoma.
