The editorial consultant for the HMWF, he is a journalist and author of two books. He assisted Shirley Ann Higuchi with her book about the incarceration. He will be the key faculty member guiding the participants throughout the week.
Mr. Emborg is a Nationally Board Certified master history teacher; he is the great-grandson of three sets of Montana homesteaders and has long incorporated lessons of Heart Mountain in courses ranging from 8th grade history through 12th AP U.S. government and politics. He is a Mock Trial and five-time Wyoming State Champion We the People sponsor. He will be leading teachers through applying lessons in the classroom and beyond.
Ms. Abo has been a 7-12 grade and higher ed. English and English as a Second Language teacher for several years. She is the project assistant and a staff member of the HMWF. Her parents, uncles, aunts and grandparents on both sides of her family were incarcerated at Minidoka (Idaho) and Tule Lake (California) incarceration sites. She will be assisting with logistics throughout the workshops.

Ms. Constein has been on staff at the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center since 2013. Currently, her position includes managing the HMWF store, leading educational tours, and planning the annual Heart Mountain Pilgrimage. She will be assisting project staff with logistics at the Interpretive Center.
