We are dedicated to protect and enhance the use and appearance of our open spaces. As part of our environmental work, our volunteers have planted trees, bulbs and sown wild flower meadows as well as installing seating on Featherbed Lane rec and organising regular litter picks.

Join our community growing project.
First we gave away seeds, then we took delivery of 5 tonnes of compost, then we exchanged plants.
During the spring and summer of 2021, 2022 and 2023 we grew vegetables including courgettes, peas, runner beans, broad beans, aubergines, tomatoes and cabbage in the raised beds outside Rogers Hall, Deerings Road, Hillmorton.
In 2022 we won third prize in the Allotments category and in 2023 we won Gold in the community category in the Rugby in Bloom Awards. We are keen to meet others who have a passion for community gardens. If you would like to share your expertise on growing - or just learn more about what we do - please get in touch on environment@heartcg.org.
We hold monthly litter picks around Hillmorton and East Rugby. Either join us for the next communal litter pick in early July or litter pick in your own area and post your images on our FB page.

Thanks to Rugby Fire Station Red Watch for their help litter picking on 5th June.
