Partners

In order to make Project AWARE a success in SAU 34, everyone is involved.

Teachers, paraeducators, student support personnel, administrators, parents and caregivers, community members, community organizations... everyone has a stake in improving the behavioral health and wellness of our students, and it will take a team effort to make this happen.

SAU 34 has established a leadership team to provide collaboration, guidance and support of the implementation of Project AWARE.

This team-- called the SAU 34-Community Leadership Team (SCLT)-- consists of the voluntary participation of community members, representatives of community organizations, parents/caregivers, district personnel and school board members.

We have established current community partnerships with

• Town of Hillsborough Youth Services

• Town of Hillsborough Police Department

• Riverbend Community Mental Health

• Smith Memorial Congregational Church

• Behavioral Health Improvement Institute, Keene State College

• NH Department of Education

• NH Bureau of Student Wellness

Grant operations will be overseen and managed by Superintendent Patricia Parenteau, Director of Student Support Services Stacey Vazquez, and Project AWARE Grant Manager Heather Garcia.
