March 23-27
Hello 6-1 Students!
I wanted to take the time to say I am thinking about each and every one of you during this trying time and I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.
I have sent your parent(s)/guardian(s) an email this morning. There is an important question that they need to reply to me about. Please ask them if they received it.
While I have already provided 6-1 students with some work to do at home from March 23-April 3 (Reading Book Report Craftivity, Fractions booklet, Media Literacy project), we are waiting for further direction and guidance with regards to additional work and instructional tasks moving forward.
The Ontario government has created Learn at Home resources and these resources are posted on the Ministry of Education website. The board has also provided resources for elementary students to continue to learn while not in school. These resources can be found on the HDSB website, www.hdsb.ca. There are suggestions for each division in each subject area (Kindergarten, Primary, Junior, Intermediate). Please feel free to access these resources.
Please email me at any time if you have any questions about your work, and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can.
Please continue to check our class website for any updates/announcements. I am also looking into other online platforms to help us as we move forward.
I wish you and your families well.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Brouwer :)
