ASSIGNMENT:

Create 2 (or more) short, 15 - 30 second SOUNDSCAPE videos that surrounds the audience with a rich sensory environment using sound.

✔ Create 2 SOUNDSCAPE Videos with Sound Tables

✔ Each video will be 15 - 30 seconds long

✔ Use any editing software you like (eg. Adobe Rush)

✔ Record at least one audio file to use for each of your videos (dialogue, SFX, Ambient)

✔ Find other Audio Resources HERE

✔ Shoot your own video or still images or find videos or still images online (found footage must have the audio stripped)

This soundscape of our empty school was made during the shutdown. Sound can be a nostalgic experience.

Jack Donovan Foley (April 12, 1891 – November 9, 1967) was an American sound effects artist who was the developer of many sound effect techniques used in filmmaking. He is credited with developing a unique method for performing sound effects live and in synchrony with the picture during a film's post-production.
