School supervision begins at 9:05am. Please accompany your child, via the front of the school, to the Kindergarten fenced play area located at the East side of the school. When the children arrive, they will line up with their educators. They will wait to walk into their classroom. Parents will not be entering any of the fenced-in areas this school year.
If you need to pick up your child during the school day, please contact the office to sign them out. The office will let us know and we will bring your child to the office! Be sure to report all absences using the School Messenger system.
Information about busing is available through Halton Transportation Services. Check the site to see if your child is eligible for the bus and learn more about their rider safety program in August.
If your child is a bus student please let us know by filling out the First Week Information form and send in your child's backpack on the first day of school.
Our school offers child care through the YMCA. Please click this link to learn more about registration and their program.
Our YMCA Kindergarten and School-Age programs are currently merged together in the Gym. Our weekly program planning is based on the interests of our children. While in the program, the children have access to a variety of different materials, such as sports equipment, toys, games, and arts and crafts supplies. We offer a snack that is provided by Wholesome Kids and planned by a Registered Dietician. Some of the children's favourite snacks are bananas, apples, applesauce, Made Good granola products, bagels, and muffins. We also review all allergies and have accommodations for those children with allergies. During our outside playtime, the children enjoy playing a variety of different sports and exploring the environment while going on scavenger hunts in our designated area.
