Educators wear masks at all times (both inside and outside the building). While inside the building, face shields or goggles are also worn for PPE.
Here are examples of educators wearing their PPE.
Inside the classroom students are assigned to a 'cohort' where they are grouped with a few of their classmates. They will spend a week in that 'cohort' interacting with the same group of students in the same area or 'zone' of the classroom. 'Zones' are designated areas in the classroom where the 'cohort' of students have their specific workspace as well as room to play. Some classrooms have used colored tape to help students know where each 'zone' is located, as well as the pathway to walk safely around the room. Please find pictures below of 'zones' within a classroom, as well as examples of students playing in their 'cohorts'.
