The Ontario Kindergarten Curriculum aims to give your child the knowledge and skills they will need to succeed in Grade 1 by using proven teaching methods geared to your child’s age and development. Kindergarten teachers and Early Childhood Educators will work together to support each child in developing foundational skills through evidence-based explicit instruction in play- and inquiry-based learning environments.
