Reach Out Centre for Kids (ROCK) is a multiservice organization geared towards supporting child and youth mental health. Both in person clinics and online visits are available to help kids and families in their wellness journey. Kids Help Phone offers youth confidential 24/7 support via text, phone, Facebook messenger, and live chat. This is a Nationally accreddited program with trained professionals to listen, support, and be there when they need it most. "When in doubt, reach out." Headspace and Calm are both incredible resources with a variety of support tools including stress busters, guided meditations, gentle movement, relaxation stories and music. They are excellent for any age and have customized elements for kids as young as infants all the way up to adulthood. Both outlets have free apps available for download on personal mobile devices or can alternatively be accessed via an online browser. TedEd has a great collection of informative videos that can be helpful for families and educators to build personal understanding of the mental health concerns a child may be experiencing. This series can be beneficial to shift perspectives, helping to better understand their world.
