Our Prototype
Our prototype is a semi-functional smaller version of the final product Bye-Catch is planning to create. The design demonstrates the different functions of each element of the net as well as giving a small glace at what the aesthetics will look like.
The Electromagnet
On our prototype we used permanent magnets, however in the final design there would be electromagnets instead. This is because electromagnets generate a stronger electrical field and can be turned on and off. To demonstrate this we also created an electromagnet by wrapping wire around a screw and attaching the two ends of the wire to a battery.
