BCHS proudly joined Canadians nationwide in honoring Terry Fox’s legacy during this year’s Marathon of Hope. On September 26th, staff and students walked, ran, and rolled through the neighborhood in support of cancer research.

Starting the Fall Season with a BANG!
BCHS athletes are off to an incredible start this season! The volleyball teams are crushing opponents with the Juniors undefeated at 4–0 and the Senior team pushing strong at 4–2. Field hockey remains undefeated led by standout scorer Helena Chung. The junior girls’ basketball team has also yet lose a game, continuing to shine with sharp shooting and solid defense, while the cross country squad celebrates top finishes thanks to leaders Maya Markowska and Andrew Giles. BCHS sports are heating up and the season has only just begun!

We run for Terry. I run for "___"
Since Terry's historic run across Canada in 1980, Burlington Central has hosted their own running event to fundraise for and raise awareness to support Terry' cause -- the search for the cure for cancer. The BCHS Terry Fox Run is coming up on September 26th and our school this year is to raise $5000 to be donated to the Terry Fox Foundation by then. Read the article for more information!
