H-D Elementary PBIS Vision
Hampton-Dumont Elementary Schools will implement Postive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in order to maintain and promote a positive, safe, predictable, and enjoyable environment. Students will reach their greatest social and academic potential.
What is PBIS?
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a school-wide approach aimed at supporting students' behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. The emphasis is put on students' positive behavior rather than the negative behavior. H-D elementary schools have specific expectations called "BARK" or "The Bulldog Way" in order for all students to know and follow school-wide expectations.
