Our Continuous Improvement Goal was to improve reading and writing across all content areas.  If you follow each class diagonally through the data, we have been successful at achieving this goal for both reading and writing.  A few classes displayed the typical “summer slide,” but they were able to recover their knowledge before the winter testing session.  Specifically looking at the reading scores, we did have two classes show lower scores during one testing session, but they then showed improvement again at the next test.
