MEAL PRICES & PAYMENTS
You may put money on the account by sending cash or a money order to school with your child. The money will be deposited in your child’s account at no extra cost. Make sure each child's name is included and how much money onto their account. If you have students in middle school or the high school, please send checks or money order to the appropriate buildings.
MySchoolBucks allows you to enter each child separately and determine how much money goes into the account. If you choose to send cash or money order, send to the appropriate buildings with the dollar amount specified for each child.
HCST is a Peanut Free Environment.
You will receive email notifications from MySchoolBucks.com that your account is low on money. If you do not have a MySchoolBucks.com account an email notification will come from HCSTFoodServices@hcstonline.org.
Yes, money can be used for "extras" or à la carte items, and we can track your child’s spending. If you qualify for free/reduced lunches, you may still add money to an account for "extras."
The cafeteria is a cashless system. All students must scan their student ID barcode and funds will be taken from their MySchoolBucks.com account.
Free and reduced students MUST reapply for the program each year. A new application must be received within the first 30 days of the school year. Otherwise, your child will automatically be removed from the program.
Yes, you may use the transfer fund option in MySchoolBucks.com
The money will roll over into next year and remain in your child’s account. If your child is graduating a refund request form will be emailed to you.
Create/replenish/view funds to your child’s cafeteria MySchoolBucks account (https://www.myschoolbucks.com).
Create or login to your MySchoolBucks account.

After you have set up your payment method, navigate to the Home screen and select your Student Payment Option:
ADD ONE-TIME FUNDS: Make a one-time payment to your student's account.
SET UP AUTOPAY: Set your balance once, and let MySchoolBucks handle the rest. Eliminate one-time payments.

Yes, you may still place money into the accounts at www.myschoolbucks.com or you can contact Mario Rodriguez at (201) 662-6832 or mrodriguez7@hcstonline.org if you wish to pay by cash or money order.
Please complete the Cafeteria Account Refund Request form by clicking here. Within the form you can let us know if you wish to transfer the funds to another of your child's account or request for a check.
