About the HCST Breakfast & LUNCH Program
Hudson County Schools of Technology Food Service Department offers a breakfast and lunch program that provides students with a nutritious breakfast and lunch that meets recommended dietary guidelines. The program, which is supervised by the Food Service Department, is available in all district cafeterias. All middle and high school students are eligible to participate in the breakfast and lunch program.

What exactly is a FULL BREAKFAST MEAL?

A FULL breakfast meal must have all the following components:
Fruit or Vegetable or 4 oz Juice
Whole Grain-Rich Starch (Part of Entrée)
Protein (Part of Entrée)
Fat-Free or Low-Fat Milk
Sample Breakfast your child can have in the cafeteria:
Cereal Cup 1 oz, Fat-Free or Low Fat Milk, Apple slices or Fresh Fruit or Fruit Juice
Entrée of the day, Fat-Free or Low Fat Milk, Apple slices or Fresh Fruit or Fruit Juice
Bagel Sandwich, Fat-Free or Low Fat Milk, Apple slices or Fresh Fruit or Fruit Juice
Yogurt Parfait, Fat-Free or Low Fat Milk, Apple slices or Fresh Fruit or Fruit Juice
Eggs and/or Sausage, Potatoes, Fat-Free or Low Fat Milk, Apple slices or Fresh Fruit or Fruit Juice
Hot Oatmeal, Fat-Free or Low Fat Milk, Apple slices or Fresh Fruit or Fruit Juice
