Fitnessgram

All fifth grade students are required to participate in the state-designated Physical Fitness Test. Students will be tested twice during the year - once in the Fall semester as a pre-test and once in the Spring semester as a post-test. Students will be assessed using the FITNESSGRAM which is a health related physical fitness assessment. The assessment includes a variety of health related physical fitness tests designed to assess aerobic capacity, muscle strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and body composition. Third and fourth grade students participate in some Fitness Assessments to practice and prepare for their fifth grade year.
