We will focus on building concrete skills in drawing (line, shape and texture), painting (color, hue) and sculpture. These foundation skills developed this year are revisited and deepened through both Seventh and Eighth Grade. We will integrate the humanities curriculum into our exploration of art through history and connecting culture and ideas. Projects are designed for creative exploration, skill building, and reflective learning about both self and the cultures they are studying.
