Crocker scores students in two affective characteristic categories: Personal Conduct and Work Habits. In each category, students are given a score from four to one. The numbers are to be interpreted as follows:
4= Exceeds Expectations 2= Sometimes Meets Expectations
3= Meets Expectations 1= Rarely Meets Expectations
In the classroom, I expect students to meet or exceed expectations with the following criteria:
Be ready to learn (be in your seat and have your materials out).
Be a proactive learner and be focused.
Participate and contribute in class discussions and group work.
Raise your hand (when volunteering answers or when asking questions. Always ask when you do not understand and help others whenever you can).
Be respectful (of people and school property).
Behave appropriately during assemblies and drills.
Working together is encouraged but show your own work. Cheating and plagiarism will result in no credit and parent and administrative contact.
