Becoming College, Career, and Life Ready
The mission of the Hoke County Migrant Education Program is to continuously improve the quality of education provided to migrant children through the support of their families. Our main goal is to help these students achieve the levels of success they need to graduate from High School.
Children of migrant families who participate receive supplemental services through the school system and are eligible to receive referral services to other community agencies. Migrant Education is Title I Part C funded through the National Office of Migrant Ed (OME).Allotments are sent to the local LEA through the NC Dept of Public Instruction- Migrant Education Program. Information is reported and maintained through the use of a statewide database with entries sent from the local LEA Data Specialist.
