12/2 mini lesson reflection 

During this experience my EDUC 1100 class was teaching a mini lesson in designated classrooms, the lesson that I was teaching in a small group of students was about text features, we first read a book to the students then created a scavenger hunt about text feathers. the scavenger hunt asked the student what page they found the text feather on and if they were able to find it. What this peice of evidence taught me was that making assesments fun or game like is more engaging for the students, they seemed much more engaged with what was being taught. when the scavenger hunt was introduced the students were rushing to finish it and laughed like they were having fun. the experience taught me that adding the game like assesments to the lesson makes it engaging for the sudents.
