In this evidence with my EDUC 1100 class we did a read aloud at the school the Merklin, in the class that I was reading to I was given the book as well as an outline that pointed out what sort of questions I show be asking during the reading of the book. from what I had learned from COX Acadamy you need to engage students while you are reading to the students and a good way to do that is by asking questions. The main thing I learned from this experience was how important it is to asking question and keep students engaged with what is being read to them. cox Acadamy taught me how to make the read aloud engaging but actually doing the read aloud it showed me how important it is to keep students engaged with questions and topics that you can tie to the student's life experiences.
