Wrath of the lich king

The second expansion brings our heroes to Northrend, land of the scourge. We must destroy the lich king once and for all.

Long ago the demon lord kil'jaeden was brutally attacking the orc ner'zul. When he stopped attacking the orc he offered power to ner'zul, in exchange for the power he would have to prepare the world of Azeroth for a legion invasion. Eager to keep his life, ner'zul accepted kil'jaeden offer, turning him into the lich king, lord of the scourge. While doing what kil'jeaden enlisted him to do the lich king created death knights, a league of warriors raised into undeath. The first of these death knights was the prince of lordaeron, arthas menthil. his corruption happened because of his belief that the cured blade frostmoune could be used for good, and that he could master its cursed magic and destroy the scrouge with it. But in the end, it was him that fell to frostmournes power. But soon even more dire events took place, with arthas under the lich kings' power, he took arthas to the frozen throne and merged him with arthas giving the lich king a physical form. But all villains meet their end and soon enough adventures climbed icecrown citadel and defeated the lich king once and for all, and arthas's murdered father tenrenas comes and holds his son in his arms. And Arthas final words being, "I see... only darkness... before me..."
