The first edition of Reservoir High School's yearbook was published in 2003. As the school community grew and established its identity in the early years, the yearbook served as a tangible record of memories, achievements, and milestones.
In its early years, the yearbook production involved labor-intensive processes, with students and faculty collaborating to compile photographs and design layouts that captured the essence of each school year. These editions are cherished keepsakes for students and staff, preserving memories of friendships, academic successes, and extracurricular activities.
As we enter the 2024-2025 school year, In Media Resi is a dynamic high school yearbook program committed to telling the authentic and diverse stories of over 1,800 students from diverse backgrounds. With a name that translates to "in the middle of things," the program emphasizes capturing the lived experiences of students right where they are—amidst the challenges, triumphs, and everyday moments that shape their high school journey.
This year's theme, "Beneath the Surface," takes a deep dive into the often-unseen layers of student life, showcasing students' resilience, integrity, and strength as they face societal pressures, and the burden of labels related to race, identity, and diversity. Through powerful personal narratives, candid photography, and thoughtful design, "In Media Resi" reveals how students are far more than the stereotypes or assumptions placed upon them, celebrating their individuality, passion, and unity. The yearbook seeks to capture what is visible and what lies beneath—the heart, determination, and community spirit that defines this diverse student body.
