What is the Mid-Atlantic Concert Band Festival?
The Mid-Atlantic Regional Concert Band Festival is not just another adjudication, but rather it is an experience for all students to share their hard-work and music-making in a supportive and non-competitive environment.
The Music for All National Festival, held in Indianapolis each year, is a prestigious event that high school bands from around the country apply to attend and perform. Now, we bring that experience to students here in the Baltimore-Washington Region and beyond.
What will students do?
What will students do?
Students will participate in the following events and activities:
30-minute performance on stage
30-minute clinic with nationally renowned conductors
Master Classes
Hear at least two other high school bands plus the University of Maryland Wind Ensemble
Exhibits
Meet students from all over the region and make meaningful connections with others who have a passion for band and great music-making experiences
