Percussion Ensemble

Hammond Middle School has a Percussion Ensemble that meets after school on Mondays in the HMS band room.

The Jazz band rehearses from 3:25 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. No school bus transportation is provided.

Any HMS band student may participate in percussion ensemble, but priority will go to percussion students. Space is limited due a finite amount of instruments and percussion equipment. 

If the number of interested students warrants a second percussion ensemble, one will be added.

Due to the limited rehearsal time, students must commit to weekly attendance. The maximum number of absences from rehearsal is one unexcused, or two excused.
