HaHS Boosters Updates
Hammond High Boosters Membership 2023/2024
The Hammond High Boosters is looking forward to another terrific year! We need your help supporting our efforts to promote fun and enriching extracurricular activities to all of Hammond’s students.
Golden Bear News
Book Drive
Hey Golden Bears! Do you have books left over from your childhood, sitting on your bookshelf, collecting dust? Would you like to help children in local elementary schools improve their reading skills? Well, there is a new opportunity for you to donate books to the Media Center. Donation boxes are at the front doors of the Media Center. Your donation will help improve the literacy of children in local elementary schools! Donation boxes are open until May 24th!
Outstanding Obligations
Do you have any outstanding obligations for lost or damaged textbooks, unreturned uniforms or media center books? If so, it is important that you take care of those items as soon as possible. The prom and graduation is just around the corner, and tickets to those events will not be issued to any student with an obligation.
Please check with your teachers and/or coaches or stop by the front office to see Ms. Loschiavo, our school’s bookkeeper, before school, after school or during lunch.
Payments for obligations can also be made online by going to Hammond’s website and scrolling down to online payments.
Please do not wait until the last minute!

Bus/Car Loop "Update"
Here's an image of our new traffic pattern for our car loop. As you drive around the car loop and get closer to the building, we ask that you use both lanes to drop off your child.
HCPSS and School Communication
All parents/guardians are in our system to receive HCPSS and school emails/text messages. HCPSS systems will update in early August, at which point parents will automatically receive communication from your child’s 2023-2024 school. Prior to that rollover, you will continue to receive communication from your child’s 2022-2023 school. Please do not attempt to create a new account with your child’s 2023-2024 school. Additionally, unsubscribing from any HCPSS or school messages will block you from receiving all messages from the district and your child’s school. Please do not unsubscribe!
Community News and Programs Webpage
Please visit the Community News and Programs page (http://www.hcpss.org/community-news-and-programs/) on the HCPSS website for all announcements of upcoming events and programs sponsored by non-profit organizations.
Note: The Public Information Office encourages all community organizations to distribute notices electronically through this online resource. However, organizations may choose to distribute printed documents, such as the 2018 Parent Guide, through student backpacks, etc. per the provisions of HCPSS Policy 10010.
For more information, please refer to Distribution Guidelines for Schools. Contact the Public Information Office with any questions, at 410-313-6682 or publicinfo@hcpss.org.
