Book Club

Do you love to read for pleasure? Are you one of those kids who can’t put a book down? Well this is the seminar to you. You will read high interest and challenging books, discuss them with other students from school, then discuss them with other students at from other Howard County middle schools? Welcome back Book Club members. I hope you are ready for another great year. Remember we welcome anyone interested in reading novels at their own pace and then participating in discussion circles. Please listen to the morning announcements for more information. Not only does LKMS's book club members meet once a month. Students from each middle school book club meet typically on the first Tuesday of each month  at either the Central Branch library or the Miller Branch Library in Howard County. County-wide discussions take place in the evenings from 7:00-8:00 pm. Lime Kiln always sends at least two representatives to this meeting to discuss each novel. Please let Mrs. Spillman know if you are interested in attending any of these discussions.
