Beyoncé's career started as being the lead singer of the R&B group Destiny's Child before becoming a hugely successful soloist with albums such as "Dangerously in Love," "Lemonade," ect. She became a multi-platinum, award winning artist and a cultural icon. Besides music, she has also been in tv films, including roles in "Dreamgirls" and "Austin Powers in Goldmember". She also voiced Nala in the 2024 film of "Mufasa: The Lion King". 

Beyoncé was born on September 4, 1981, Houston, Texas. She attended many different schools, which includes Parker Elementary School, a music magnet school, Welch Middle School of Fine Arts program, and the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Beyoncé also has a younger sister, Solange Knowles. Solange is also a singer. She is also a former backup dancer for Destiny's Child. Solange and Beyoncé are the first sisters each to have had a number one solo album.
