In the 2024 film of Wicked, Grande played Glinda the Good, alongside Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, or the Wicked Witch of the West. She wanted to be the best Glinda ever, and she wore a blonde wig for the part. Glinda is the popular witch who loves pink and acts  like a princess. Ariana played Cat in the Sam and Cat tv series. This is the series that really got her career going. She was so devoted to this character that when she played Cat, they died her brown hair red. They had to die her hair so often, that in some spots, the die ruined her hair causing hair loss. Ariana didn't want to give up this character as Cat, so she told the team that she needed a custom red wig from now on. Because of the hair loss Ariana wears her hair up to hide the damage that we all know as her infamous high ponytail. Besides that, Ariana played a funny character as Cat who's just a bit clueless.
