The Centennial High School Wind Ensemble is regarded as one of the top wind ensembles in the nation. Check out a few clips of their performances below! Centennial High School Band Program
Centennial High School Band Program
The majority of our CLES Band students go to Centennial High School. Centennial High School has a nationally recognized, award winning band program. In 2018 and 2025, they traveled to Chicago to perform in the Midwest Clinic, an international Band and Orchestra music education festival. They have been the only high school band in Maryland to be invited to play at this clinic in the last 40 years, and have now been invited TWICE! CHS 2018 Midwest Clinic Recordings
CHS Bands consistently receive the highest ratings and feedback from adjudicators in Maryland and along the east coast. They offer three bands, a jazz band, and marching band.
Their director, Mr. David Matchim, was recognized as the music educator of the year through Music and Arts in 2018. This is a national award given each year to an outstanding music educator.
Students that continue in high school have the opportunity to go on exciting spring trips to destinations like Disney World and Universal Studios!

Burleigh Manor Middle School Band Program
