Course Registration 2026-2027
Discuss Your Selections with Parents/Guardians:
Students should share their course choices with their parents to ensure alignment with long-term goals. You can use the 4 year High School Plan and the 2026-2027 HCPSS Catalog of Approved Classes to help plan.

Specific Requirements:
Register for 7 credits and 3 alternates. Directions (Deadline January 12)
Discuss course recommendations with teachers.
Course Level Adjustment - As in years past, students and families can adjust their course level to something different from the initial teacher recommendation. This year, this can be completed electronically during the course requests window. These are the instructions and screencast on how students and families can make these changes. It is recommended and encouraged for students to discuss any changes with their teachers.
Special Programs or Adjustments:
For dual enrollment, release time, or student aiding, select your 7 courses and 3 alternates, then complete the required additional forms. The forms will be available at a later date.
To request a Career Academy, students will need to add the appropriate career academy classes in their course requests. Career Academy Information
Coure Registration Student/Counselor Meetings
Counselors will meet with every student individually starting on January 27th to discuss course selections for the 2026-2027 school year. During these meetings, students will be able to ask scheduling and course-related questions, and counselors will be able to address any concerns, as well as make adjustments to student course requests as needed.
Please check HERE. for your appointment date and time. Go to your counselor's tab (see bottom of the spreadsheet), and check for your name, date, and appointment time. Write your appointment down and add it to your calendar. You will be receiving a pass the day before your appointment. If you are out sick and/or unavailable for your scheduled time, please contact your counselor as soon as possible to reschedule. All students will need to meet with their counselor.
