Habit 2:

Begin with the End in Mind

"I plan ahead and set goals for myself"

"I think about how the choices I make now will affect my future"

"I am an important part of my classroom and contribute to my school's mission and vision"

Beginning with the end in mind is based on imagination - the ability to envision, see the potential, and create with our minds what we cannot at present see with our eyes.

If you do not make a conscious effort to visualize who you are and what you want in life, then you empower other people and circumstances to shape you and your life. You have the ability to decide what you want to be when you grow up. Create a vision and mission for your life and what you want to achieve. By creating a vision and mission statement you will start to begin with the end in mind.

Leaders of the Pack

Every month, a student is nominated from each classroom as a "Leader of the Pack." These students demonstrate leadership by practicing the habit of the month throughout our school. Leaders of the Pack lead the way by setting an example for others and showing what it means to use the 7 Habits. Check out our Leaders of the Pack who were using Habit 2 - Begin with the End in Mind!
