If you are testing in the Aux Gym in the morning, head to the exterior door by the 500s to be let in. If you are testing in the Library in the morning, head to the commons doors by the bus loop to be let in.
If Mr. Dickenson has talked to you about participating in small group testing, you should report to the AHS Library.
All students taking late exams should report to the AHS Library, unless given other directions by Mr. Dickenson. Late exams are given for students with conflicts on the original date (an IB Exam at the same time, for example). To confirm if you have any late testing dates, please check the exam date listed with your course on your AP Classroom dashboard. Ask Mr. Dickenson if you have any questions about late exams or if you have a conflict other than an IB exam.
Plan to REPORT to your testing location no later than 7:30 AM and/or 11:45 AM. We will begin once everyone is seated, materials are distributed and directions read.
Transportation: Students must provide their own transportation for all exams. The morning exams start before most buses arrive and any afternoon exam could end after buses depart.
You are required to return to class after all MORNING exams unless you have a note from a parent. Turn these notes in to Mrs. Alexander in attendance BEFORE the exam session. If you do not provide a note and do not attend class you will be reported as skipping class. You are not required to return to class after an AFTERNOON exam.
Lunch: if you have an afternoon exam, please plan to leave 2nd block at 11:15 AM to eat in the Commons before your exam. You are responsible for getting to your exam location by 11:45 AM.
Please communicate with Mr. Dickenson immediately should you become sick or have another extenuating circumstance. Otherwise, all students are expected to take AP examinations. Should you not report to an examination, you will be marked as “Absent” from school unless you are in class..
AP Exam Terms and Conditions
Students must acknowledge at the start of the exam that they agree to the AP Exam Terms and Conditions (cb.org/apexamterms). The Terms and Conditions explain the policies that students must follow when taking AP Exams. College Board will notify students and schools when the Terms and Conditions are available online in the spring.
Students can review general information about AP courses and exams at apstudents.collegeboard.org.
