Vo Ly Gia Ngan is currently working as a freelance English teacher. Her main responsibilities include designing lessons and delivering instruction tailored to my learners' needs. Her students are primarily teenagers and young adults who either require English for workplace communication or are preparing for standardized tests such as IELTS, TOEIC, or VSTEP.
Teaching philosophy:
"My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that teaching is both a process of learning and inspiring. I continually strive to improve my own understanding in the field of linguistics, which is one of the key reasons I am pursuing a Master's degree. I also believe in learning from my students - many of whom come from diverse professional backgrounds - making each teaching experience a two-way exchange. More importantly, I aim not just to teach content but to motivate my students by helping them identify their needs, set achievable goals, and support them on the journey toward achieving those goals."

I am a teacher at ILA English Center with almost five years of experience teaching a range of learner levels, from Cambridge YLE courses to IELTS, VSTEP, and communication courses. I am eager to guide students in achieving their goals during their learning process, since the joy of helping them get what they desire but cannot achieve by themselves forces me to become a professional, skilled, and inspiring teacher.
Teaching philosophy:
“I believe teaching and learning are inseparable - a shared journey toward growth. As a teacher, I act as a ‘boatman’ who adapts the path to each ‘passenger’ individual's needs, whether it’s shorter, longer, or more challenging. My ultimate goal is to support every student in reaching their destination through routes that best suit their ability and circumstances.”
