Materials & Resources

SUPPLIES

Students are expected to bring these materials to class every day:

• Composition/Spiral Notebook (Pre - Calculus and College Prep classes only)

• Folder, Loose-leaf paper, and Pencils with erasers

• Crayons, Color Pencils, and Highlighters (provided by teacher, but student may bring their own)

• Device to access Canvas outside of the classroom.

• Access to a graphing calculator is needed for this class:

o   Personal calculators are allowed (TI-Nspire or TI-84)

o   TI-Nspire and TI-84 calculators will be available for use in class

o   TI-84 calculators can be checked out from the library

Textbook and Resources

Geometry: We will be using the Carnegie Learning notebooks for Geometry. These books have the fillable notes for the lessons we will cover in class. They will be stored in class, but students may take them home if need be (please make sure to bring them back the next class day). All notes and assignments can be found on Canvas and will be organized on Canvas by dates.

Pre-Calculus:  The teacher will guide students through fillable notes that will be handed to students and available on Canvas. We will also be using the Edgenuity platform through HCISD which can be found through Clever. All notes and assignments can be found on Canvas and will be organized on Canvas by dates.

College Prep Math:  We will be using the textbook and notes provided by UTRGV on the WeBWork platform. WeBWork is where you will find all of your assignments, quizzes, and tests. We will also be using the Edgenuity platform through HCISD which can be found on Clever. All notes and assignments can be found on Canvas and will be organized on Canvas by dates.
